The Divine Lamp

From Argent by the Tiber comes the following:

This afternoon while playing outside, one of the young people at the youth convention collapsed. One of our house guests who is a nurse tried to resuscitate this young person. The emergency medical team arrived to intervene and rushed this person to the hospital. We are awaiting for the family to arrive here so that news may be released. Please pray for R. and the family.

I was in the Adoration Chapel when all this was happening and upon leaving the Chapel noticed that there were several groups huddled in prayer. Our friend found us to let us know what occurred. There is a prayer service that is going on now for R.

Prayer:
Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant “R”  for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
he or she may give thanks to You in Your Church.
