Problems sleeping
Schroeder’s Greatest Hits used to help me get to sleep, but he’s not working now. The soundtrack from ROBIN HOOD PRINCE OF THIEVES used to work also, but not any longer. Reading A HISTORY OF PHILOSOPHY by Fredrick Copleston doesn’t even work anymore! I borrowed PRINCIPALS OF CATHOLIC THEOLOGY: BUILDING STONES FOR A FUNDAMENTAL THEOLOGY from the parish library, but I find it to interesting to put me to sleep.
Hey, Rob, umm, didn’t you write a book? :)

Up here in Canada we have a proven remedy for insomnia: Margaret Atwood.
Three pages of any of her works and you are asleep. If you can get her on tape reading her own work, you’ll sleep in 2 pages.
I recommend of her fiction:
“Surfacing”
Or:
“The Handmaid’s Tale”
But you’d really succeed with her non-fiction
“Survival: A Thematic Guide to Canadian Literature”
Or:
“Negotiating with the Dead: A Writer on Writing”
All as dry as the Mojave Desert.
And you complain about blogger!
Essentially, Rob said he has a book out which was published before his conversion and that I was several decades away from being old enough to read it. He has another book (written after his conversion) coming out in about a month which is less racy. You can go to his combox and ask for more info.
Hey, you guys are all so funny. Informed and talented, too. I appreciate it all.
