Episcopal Parish “Divorces” Itself From Its Diocese

    Yes, from what I can figure out, there are in the US
    Episcopalians, which was the name all Anglicans in the US had after the Revolution, and then there are groups like “American Anglicans.”

    According to this site there are alot of “Anglicans” who are not in the “Anglican Communion” which is defined as having a “formal relation with the See of Canterbury.”

    In Short Episcopalians are in Communion with the See of Canterbury, but “AMerican Anglicans” is one group which is not.
